We’re back with another update, and this time it’s Astra version 4.8.0. Here’s what’s new and improved:

New:

• Introducing Astra Style Guide for improved navigation and streamlined customization in the customizer.

Improvements:

• WooCommerce – Enhanced block-based cart and checkout page styling for better user experience.
• Header SVG logo is now clickable to redirect to the homepage.
• Added default top spacing for SureCart Shop title for a better visual experience.
• Improved smooth scroll for deeply nested elements.
• Accessibility – Enhanced keyboard navigation for “Quick View” and “Add to Cart” buttons in the Modern Shop layout.

Fixes:

• Block Editor: Uncaught DOMException in the console for cross-origin iframes.
• Updated to use MediaUpload from @wordpress/media-utils to ensure image selection button works when block editor is disabled.
• Resolved breaking desktop header on server with comma as the decimal separator.
• Resolved max-width issues with Spectra heading and several other blocks in both the editor and the frontend.
• Restore the cart icon link redirecting to the cart page in the customizer.
• SVG logo not visible in the transparent header in few cases.

We recommend updating to Astra version 4.8.0 to take advantage of these new features and improvements.

• CSS Cleanup – Fixed redundant semicolons in CSS background properties to ensure cleaner and more efficient CSS output.
• Astra – SureCart – Empowered Astra and SureCart integration default setup.

Fixes:

• Editor – Fixed the issue where the “Hide title” option in the editor wasn’t working when the Spectra plugin was activated.
• Button Spacing – Fixed the issue of no spaces between buttons block in the editor and single page.

We’re happy to announce the Astra Pro version 4.7.2 release, bringing you improvements and key fixes for a more consistent experience.

Improvements:

• WooCommerce – Cart: Enhanced the vertical quantity updater style for a better user experience. Available at Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce, and then Misc.

Be sure that you’ve enabled the “WooCommerce” module under Astra > Dashboard to access this option.

• Site Builder: Added new capabilities and options on the dashboard’s Site Builder page for an improved user experience.

Fixes:

• Header Builder – Toggle for Desktop: Resolved the issue of showing two menus on the desktop when the sticky header animation is enabled.
• Header Builder – Offcanvas: Fixed a glitch that occurred while closing the flyout on responsive devices.
• Blog Pro: Addressed conflicts with the reveal effect and Themify plugin filters.
• Blog Pro: Resolved clashes with the blog post filter when the file generation option is enabled.
• Mega Menu: Fixed the issue of the mega menu not working with the secondary menu when the primary menu is not set.

We’re excited to announce the latest updates in Astra version 4.7.1, featuring new additions and several improvements to enhance your website’s performance.

New Features:

• Social Icons: Added “Nextdoor” and “WeChat” icons to the social icons list.

• Page Structure: New option to disable page structure and meta elements on the front page.

Improvements:

• Header Backgrounds: You can now set different background colors for the transparent header’s above, main, and below sections at Header Builder > Transparent Header > Design.

• Menu Links: Removed the default rel=”nofollow” from duplicated menu links and added a filter astra_disable_nofollow_markup to re-enable it if needed.

Fixes:

• Content Links: Fixed the issue where the “Underline Content Links” option didn’t work for links in WooCommerce product descriptions.
• Console Errors: Resolved console errors related to inner blocks with GeoDirectory and The Events Calendar plugins.
