The Astra team has added new exciting features, improved existing ones, and fixed things you didn’t like. Here’s what’s in the update👇

New:

• Added color palette for background image overlay option to sync overlay color with Global Color Palette.
• Introduced separate overlay opacity setting for background image overlay option to control opacity when overlay-color synced with Global Color Palette.
• Header Builder – Account Element now has an option to show Text along with Icon / Avatar.

Improvements:

• Added aria-expanded attribute for menu items to improve accessibility.
• Supported responsive device logo in the Site Logo block.
• Addressed Off-Canvas section in Flyout/Full-Screen affecting the source code even with custom header.
• Replaced the default Whats New section with the Whats New Library for better consistency and performance.
• Added object-fit cover styling to the single post featured image while the Image ratio is set to custom.

Fixes:

• Fixed an issue where changing the logo width increased the logo height inside the customizer settings.
• Resolved problem where column layouts in Blog/Archive broke the sizes of post structures built by Beaver Themer column modal.
• Fixed plus icons not displaying in customizer when using Spectra’s grid builder under the widget area.
