Version 1.3.0 of Astra theme and Astra Pro addon was just released with the new Background Images feature and very anticipated LearnDash Integration!

Background Images

With this new feature, now you’re able to add background images to almost about every part of your website. May it be Body, Header, Content, Sidebar or Footer of your website, now you can add a background image and make that area of shine.

To find these new options: visit Customizer » Colors and Background and under various areas, you will find a new setting to upload a background images. After uploading the image, you can set various CSS properties such as repeat, position, size and attachment right from the customizer to place the background image exactly as you want. You can use the color picker to add a layer of transparent color above the image as well!

LearnDash Integration

LearnDash is a powerful learning management system plugin for WordPress that is used to create online courses. It is used by big brands such as Infusion Soft, WP Elevation and various educational institutes like University of Florida, University of Michigan, University of Washington.

And today, we’re excited to release Astra’s design integration with LearnDash. We have designed LearnDash UI from the Astra theme to give it a modern and clean interface. Please refer the documentation to learn more.

After the Background Images and LearnDash Integration, our next focus is on mobile headers and navigation menus. In the next few updates, expect us to release granular settings to control how your headers look on mobile and stylish effects for navigation menus.

    especially as more developers build sites from a MOBILE FIRST perspective.
